Eco Club Trophies: Anti-Crisis Remedy
Organised by the Monaco Economic Board
(MEB) and the Nice-Matin Group, the ninth
edition of the Eco Club awards recompensed
businesses that were able to adapt to the
recent unprecedented context, showing
resilience and creativity. Phytoquant was
amongst the winners.
There was no question of giving up: “In spite of the circumstances, we
believed that it was essential to maintain this event which, each year,
recognises the dynamism, variety and creativity of the Monaco economy.” LES LAURÉATS 2020 SONT :
On 10 November, Nice-Matin Group Editorial Director, Denis Carreaux, set THE WINNERS OF THE 2020 ARE:
the tone for the ninth edition of the Eco Club Trophies, which took place in
the presence of members at the Grimaldi Forum. For this particular edition,
the titles of some of the prizes were altered: for example, the International • Trophée “Développement durable”
and International Outreach prizes were replaced by the Economic Recovery Sustainable Development Prize
award and the Covid Solidarity prize, won by Bettina and the SMA (Monaco’s PHYTOQUANT - Nicola Frassanito
waste disposal company) respectively, for their actions and proactivity
during the crisis. Bettina, specialising in the production of luxury knitwear, • Trophée “Innovation”
created the Bettimask, a fabric face protection, over 500,000 of which have Innovation Prize
been sold since spring 2020. The company has 40 employees. As for the ORBITAL SOLUTIONS MONACO

disinfecting the streets.

Phytoquant: Sustainable Development Prize Economy Recovery Prize
One of the traditional prizes, Managers of the Year, went to Anthony Stent BETTINA - Philippe Prud’Homme
Torriani and Gian Luc Braggiotti of Monaco Asset Management, for the
way they led the company in this time of crisis, whilst the Sustainable
Development award went to Phytoquant, the Monaco-based natural cosmetics • Trophée “Made in Monaco”
and supplements company. At the start of the crisis, Phytoquant added a Made In Monaco Prize
