PACA Region Yachting Figures
According to the Regional Tourism Committee’s study by Earthcase, the direct annual
economic worth of a yacht for the South of France varies according to the size of the
boat: around €1 million for a 30-metre, €2 million for a 45-metre, €3 million for a 60-metre,
€6 million for a 90-metre and €9 million for a 120-metre.
To the west of our region, the industry is mainly oriented towards maintenance and refit,
important works which can modify the structure of a boat (La Ciotat, La Seyne-sur-Mer
and Marseille); and in the east, it is focused on commercial and tourist activity (Hyères,
Saint-Tropez, Cannes and Nice).
